It can be difficult to render the life of the mind in a compelling fashion, but the Coens crush it here. You'll never look at wallpaper, or John Goodman, the same.
This is the best cinema can do. If you watch it and aren't changed, bettered, you weren't watching or can't be.
I loved the emotion of this funny movie and how close to me it was but then how random everything happened. Pete Campbell from Madmen was totaly halarious and way different then normal. It's weird but very real. I cried a little, no joke. I laughed alot to.
