There are multiple issues with this film.
Pluses: the actors were competent and omg a Betty Buckley sighting! I just love her, always have. Sets were nicely done. Soundtrack was fine.
Now the not good stuff. Betty Buckley's character is a low rent Lyn Shaye. Good grief. As others have said, it's not scary. The story is a good idea that could have been written better. Characters are one dimensional. The worst offender is the teenage character. Was written to be irritating and unsympathetic. I am looking forward to seeing DeWanda Wise with a better script. She's very watchable.
The actors were given characters that are just not fleshed out properly. Which makes it hard to feel sympathetic to their plight-which is what the film is asking of the viewer.
The biggest issue I have beyond all this is that the most interesting portions of the film-beyond the initial character development, is it's just TOO DARK. Protip: when we can't see the actor's facial reactions clearly, you need to get more lighting. Please. For the love of all that is horror, light that puppy up.

I can't believe there's not a review of this yet! It's a fun little comedy. Well written, nicely acted, and it has noticeably good music. I really loved it.
It's a farcical story of a modern entrepreneur that runs into problems from bad behavior caught by a social media post/explosion that threatens to ruin his business. The rest of the narrative is about the solution he comes up with to salvage the business. It's funny, but also feel good-but not sappy! The characters are very well developed and interesting and all the acting is excellent.
Will watch again. Also: Leslie Uggams is a national treasure! She's so good in this. She makes the whole movie.
