  • great season one, even greater season two

Season one was unique but really couldn't be replicated, so the writers expanded the second series to address issues beyond Iceland, topics also addressed in almost every other classic Scandinavian noir series before this one. It's not "pc", it's good writing.

  • Beautiful and very sad

This is a masterpiece, though it may take a decade or so for most people to realize it. The actors in both lead and even the most minor supporting roles are tremendous. The script is well researched and believable. This film is about Leslie Van Houten, Patricia Krenwinkle and Susan Atkins, not Charles Manson. Is that really so hard to understand?

  • Why are great Westerns like this such a rarity?

This internationally made film is the best Western since The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Bob Ford (2005) and The Proposition (2007). It's been a long dry spell. Revolutionary and timeless.
