  • Does not deserve the low ratings

Yes, my 9 stars is to compensate, because I feel this show is getting too much hate. It always has been a bit corny and campy, and yes, it isn't as strong as the first seasons, however it is still produced by people who put their hearts in it. The "new Gerald guy" does not deserve to be the scapegoat. He tries to adapt how it was played before him and at the same time put his own personality in it, as he should. Let's be honest, acting wise he was never the most interesting character anyway.

This show still entertains. Let's not review it to its death.

  • Boring and overrated.

While I definitely appreciate the triple roles Peter Sellers played (which he does so immensely well), I have to look at this film at face value and conclude it's incredibly overrated and very boring.

There's not much story to it, scenes are drawn out unnecessarily long and going in I expected a much deeper, smarter film. I ended up looking at many minutes of miniature airplanes stuck in front of a moving background and boring dialogue. The ending is weird and poorly directed. I just don't get the praise for this film.
