  • Oh, my heart...

After watching The Time Of Fever, I sought a way to buy it (I never did that for a BL) That's how I realized that it was a spin-off from Unintentional Love, which I watched first and liked very much. One thing I hate in dramas are secondary love stories. So of course, I didn't pay much attention to these weird friends-not-lovers and couldn't remember them. So of course... I had to watch UO all again to find out what happened after Dong Hee came back from Seoul. I kind of got two endings but both left me wanting more.

This was simple but beautiful and so. Goddamn. Hot. Without sex. But hot as hell. And cute and pure and heart wrenching. Everything was perfect. The atmosphere, the light, the music, the acting, the chemistry. Even... And more than everything else, the kisses. In any kind of drama, kisses just get on my nerves. These ones kept me open-mouthed, fish out of the water, choking and quivering all over for minutes. I know why. There was no loud song, or useless camera effects. Just two people left alone. I wish any drama director would learn from this. Kisses work on. Their. Own.

Number one bl. I'm gonna buy this.

  • Not your usual BL

These days I've been watching BL to rid myself of some stress. It's something I've been doing for years and I can only think of one other show that enticed me this much, it's *once again*. Once Again was way better and my heart will drop every time I think about it. There's no comparing the emotions or the chemistry. However. Secret Relationship is special in its own way. For one thing, they really went for complex, 3D characters. They weren't afraid of pushing every button to max. The leads were rather cute, I only wish there had been some chemistry between them. The kisses and the entire relationship felt passionless. But I guess this is what Da-on would seek after so much abuse and sick, sick passion from his other mates... Anyway, I went out of my way to comment after watching like twenty BL in a fews days. This means something. Thank you for actually pouring quality into the genre. Kudos.

  • In my top ten

Wow. I don't think I would have watched this without an eight year old girl claiming this was her favourite kdrama ever. I was so eager that I started with season 2 without realising it. I was 7 episodes in when I realised my mistake. No big deal. I watched the ending and then went for some sort of prequel, already knowing all the spoilers. And guess what? Out of over 200 kdramas, this one rocketed to my top ten. It just gripped me and churned me, and ripped my heart. Si-eun's eye's are something I'll never forget if I'm going to live a thousand years. His smile amidst all this darkness is something too. I fell for Baku the moment he appeared in his bulky jacket over shorts and slippers and still looked like the coolest guy in the world. Do I like him more than I like Su-ho? Unsure. Su-ho and Si-eun's friendship bordering on bromance is so appealing, so beautiful. I kind of don't want Si-eun to like anyone else like that... Anyway the plot was straight and efficient. The characters were complex and nuanced. And the acting... Omg, the acting. I'm at a loss for words. Chapeau! Bravo! Many thanks to you all!
