A lazy time travel story with major plot holes that ends on a whimper and leaves a load of unanswered questions. Even if this is marketed for a younger adult audience, it fails to respect the viewer's intelligence by not bothering to fully explain, or explore, the topics it presents.
With the negatives out of the way, the production quality is fine (as you'd expect from Netflix) and the casting/acting was decent too. It wasn't boring either and held my attention all the way through, despite being somewhat of a missed opportunity to deliver a great movie.
If you're a time travel fanatic, this is worth adding to the watchlist for the hell of it - however, if you've seen a lot of time travel movies you'll probably find the lazy explanations and plot holes rather annoying.
There's a lot worse out there and it wasn't a 'bad' film either, so a very generous 6/10 from me.

I'm picky about what I watch and only found this by accident on the ITVX app - I started watching and was instantly drawn in by the story and ended up binge watching all six episodes.
While not a masterpiece or anything, I thought this was really good. Lots of twists and turns, good performances by all the actors and the pace was excellent. There's so much going on but never too much that it's overwhelming - lots of twists and turns and the final episode gives you everything you want to know. There is no stone left unturned - no major plot holes that I caught and I think the writers did a good job.
There's not many ratings on this site and only a small number of reviews, so don't be put off and give it a chance to form your own opinion.
