  • The American version of 'Dark'

Outer Range is just as much typically American as Dark is typically German. It is actually interesting to see two different approaches to the same topic.

It has its pros and cons. I understand why it incorporates so much clichés about a farmer's life and small town America, but it gets a bit too much for me as the show progresses. I wouldn't go that far too call it boring, it is only a minor inconvenience for my European eyes and ears.

On the other side, the supernatural part of the story is quite refreshing as opposed to "traditional" science fiction.

Overall it's a good show, deserves a strong seven.

  • The older, the better

I love a TV show that doesn't want to take itself too seriously. It's supposed to be funny, and it is.

If the question is: am I entertained? Well yes, I am.

If you like classic Arnie humor, you would love this as well, just don't expect too much from it. It's nothing too serious, just a good family comedy, that you can watch anytime you just want to blow some steam off, and have good laugh.

To be honest, I never expected anything like this from Netflix, so I was quite surprised, even considering that Arnie carries the show on his back. So they definitely deserve a pat on the back, lets make this the new standard.

This is a rare species that I can reccomend to anyone, enjoy!

  • If you like teen drama with happy endings then this is for you...

...but in any other case, look somewhere else.

This series is a series of disappointments. They build up the story and the characters really nice, and then in the end they screw it all up with a sentimental piece of **** happy end.
