Don't overthink this one. The reviews are way too harsh so far. For the first half of this movie, you really have no idea where it's going so it's definitely got a suspenseful tone that works. Aida Folch is very convincing and is a top-notch actress. She did what she could with a pretty basic script. Matt Dillon is still putting out great performances. The guy is 61 years old and still looks like he's 45 in this movie. Beautiful Greece location setting. Little bit long, but don't pass it over. It's a good watch. Just don't overthink this one too much and you will enjoy it if you like a bit of a suspenseful thriller.

Z-Nation beats them all. Dawn of the dead, The Walking Dead, Rec, Shawn of the dead, The Horde, Train to Busan, 28 Days and Weeks Later, The Return of the Living Dead, Dead Alive, Re-Animator, Zombieland, Cemetery Man ....all of them. The way it beats them is sheer content, non-stop action, CGI effects, stage production, sets and the best Zombie Apocalyptic story lines in history. I have been a zombie movie addict since I watched Dawn of the Dead in 1978. Trust me, I have watched most all zombie content available. I passed up this series for five years because I thought it had cheap B-Movie budget and acting. I was dead wrong. The first few episodes it seems like bad acting and poor dialogue but then It takes off. Midway through season two it felt like I was watching a full zombie movie every time I watched an episode. By season three, the special-effects money must've exploded because each episode has incredible Eye popping zombie apocalyptic killing warfare action in it. I thought I liked Michonne on The Walking Dead. Ha! Warren from Z-Nation is the real deal. Like many before, I created this account just so I could tell all the zombie lovers out there to make sure they watch the best zombie series in history. Can't wait for season two of Black Summer.
