I saw it in the theater, I was prepared for a commentary on the current climate in the US. There was no commentary... Not even a glimmer of a commentary on it.
I can't believe I spent hard earned money on the ticket to see it.
I'm now left wondering what was left on the cutting room floor.
Acting could be better, I expect more from Dunst, she is historically a good actress. The storyline was under developed. There was no character development either, dialogue was lacking.
It felt like it was done on a very very low budget.
I've seen high school film classes do a better job with no budget.

I thought it was a charming tale of what Priti's experiences were.
I can relate a bit to being forced to date men that were chosen by my family. I can also relate to not knowing where to go in my life and when it seems like it is falling apart.
I loved the grandmother, She is my favorite character in the movie. I do wish that she was more involved but I knew she was a key in the storyline. Wise women usually are.
I enjoyed watching the little snippets of when she was at work. I work in a physician's office and often wonder what goes on at the hospitals when they are on call.
