A lot of the reviews seemed to act like this movie was terrible, when it was a pretty decent addition. Better than Thor: The Dark World, it honestly remind me of Captain America: The First Avenger.

The action scenes are fluid, and the cgi is also good. The plot wasn't super complex, and the villain wasn't very remarkable, but I didn't hate it. And will probably watch it in the future when I do a marvel rewatch.

It is definitely a filler movie, that just sets up towards the future films. I do wish the plot had been a little better, and the villain a little more terrifying, powerful, or scary. As you didn't feel as emotionally connected as you do with other films.

As a woman, I love finding great representations of female military officers, and all of their layers. This show does a fantastic job with showing multiple types of women in high powered positions and how the give no quarter in what they do. I've seen to many shows give representation to why women shouldn't be in power, but this series does a perfect job of showing the balance between professional females who order strikes with their own people as collateral and their personal lives with their family and kids. Zoé Saladana, Nicole Kidman, Jill Wagner, and their male counterparts LaMonica Garrett, Dave Annabel, and Thad Luckinbill do amazing work.
