  • As a fellow CRPS Sufferer - ugh!

I was all in until the end. As a fellow CRPS sufferer I am always very supportive of any documentary or information in this space. I was very taken by the story as was my husband. It was very captivating and emotive - although never really spelled out the person did in fact suffer from CRPS but that may be a language thing. I was all in as was my husband. It had me in tears multiple times and the story is devastating. That is until the end. Without spoiling the story it is completely unjustifiable and I had to turn it off with less than 5 minutes to go. I CANNOT support it at all. Talk about self involved. I hope the guilt of what was done at the end eats him alive. Never any excuse with these beings that rely on us completely. Sickening.

  • We Believe you Maya

As a CRPS II sufferer of over 13 years now I could tell within the first few minutes this is what Maya was suffering from. Unfortunately it is very often misdiagnosed and completely misunderstood by so called medical 'professionals'.

My heart breaks for Maya & her family. As an adult this disease is excruciating and a very hard journey to navigate. Children should NEVER have to experience this condition. Her Mother was a protective warrior advocate! Things should never be this hard. This documentary is a sad but very real insight into a rare complex disease & condition and how sufferers & families are treated, dismissed & often worse, not just in the US, but around the world!

May this much needed documentary shed light on this condition & others and may this family find some justice. This family will forever be in my families hearts & thoughts going forward. We believe you Maya.

  • The human element of truly heinous crime

If you are a True Crime Documentary fan this is a must see. This is a major True Crime story which has surprisingly not often been told, and when it has been, it has not been told in depth - nor from the victim's families perspective, which is a disservice to them & their pain. Shot with current and old footage, this documentary gives the viewer a first hand look into the behaviour of people involved at the time of the crimes. This is a well crafted documentary which tells all the facts, whilst also highlighting the very human element of family that can't help but make anyone with a heart emotional at the stories told.
