  • NO Plot and mediocre acting translates in to an Overrated Film

This film is one of the most overrated works in the history of motion pictures. If the acting was an early opportunity in his career for Robert De Niro to get an audience it failed miserably. It doesn't take an expert in film making to notice how mediocre this story was. Beginning with the first scuffle fighting in a bar, you can plainly see it was childishly and very sloppy done with no real punches, it looked like children were horse playing, really pathetic. There is no way that his film could have got good reviews from film critics unless they were paid off by some mafia friends of the main actors. We al know that was the case on many mediocre films that came out of Hollywood, we also know that the actors Union was controlled by the N.Y. and Chicago mobsters.

  • This was better than ' Blow ' 2001 and ' Narcos ' 2017

Actually anyone that knows the story of this infamous low life criminal and is familiar with Colombian customs, culture, idioms would have to agree that ' Bloque de Busqueda' is genuinely better in all respects to 'Narcos'( 2017),'Blow'(2001)and even 'Commando Elite'(2013)and all others before and after, no doubt about it! But again you have to be knowledgeable or fluent in Spanish language to appreciate the full cultural flavor of this underrated series.

  • Bloque de Busqueda and Blow all over again ?

The fact is this same story has been told before with much better actors, first is 'Bloque de Busqueda'(2016) a Colombian telenovela produced by Sony Pictures Television for RCN Televisión. This telenovela is based on the life of Captain Hernán Martín and Antonio Gavilán, who created the Colombian Military elite group of special forces, 'Bloque de Búsqueda' to capture Pablo Escobar. Many of the scenes in ' Narcos' have already been created with much better action and suspense!

Then there is the well known motion picture 'Blow'(2001) starring actor Johnny Depp. Narrative: In the turbulence of the 1970s, the international drug trade underwent a fast, violent and lucrative revolution - and one ordinary American was at its center.

But in just a few short years, George Jung (Johnny Depp), a high-school football star single handedly became the world's premiere importer of cocaine from Colombia's Medellin cartel, changing the course of an entire generation.

So there is absolutely NO MERIT for this new series by NETFLIX about an all tired and overtold subject done already by other experts.
