1 217 viewers have already reviewed this series, so I need not repeat that it was an excellent series, but without reading any others views, I state my comments: The first few episodes of series 1 was very slow and I almost lost all interest, but carried on. This was the best decision I could have taken, as I got to know the various players, when it grows on one. The latter part of series one got me hooked and I started binge watching. From season 2 I remained hooked and although a lot of what is happening on the screen is far fetched, even impossible, but very exciting to watch, with many twists and turns throughout, a real adventure to experience! The end of season 4 ended the plot which the series was about and the ending should have been changed to complete this saga.

But season 5 came about, most probably because of many requests. Watching this plot left me ice cold and had no real excitement for me. I battled through to the end and have to admit that the end of season 5 would have been ample as the end of season 4 to leave this series on a high note. To me season 5 was a spoiler and unnecessary. It reduced my overall rating.

I can understand the agony that the girls experienced for the many years that they were stalked, but that Netflix make a mockery of this story is incomprehensible. The way this doccie is set up, gives the impression that the police are useless, the girls are nuts and nothing was done about it. To fill up the space, I am tempted to repeat what I just said, but then I am as bad as Netflix.

My conclusion is that this story was never researched properly and the girls did not approach the right people for help. They were still young (though 21 years old) they did not know what to do. The first thing that any sensible youngster would do, is talk about it with their parents, the press or other ways to make this story widely known. Then things would have happened!

I am forced to write this review and will keep it as short as possible. Most reviewers gave it very high marks but some not. They found it dull, too slow, complicated and so on. I have to agree with those few, as the show was a total waste of time. It started off well with quantum theory but the producers went into another dimension without explaining what was happening. They left me and those other few back in this dimension, not being able to comprehend what was happening. I had to figure this out by myself and came to the multiverse conclusion in about episode 6, by which time I had already become fed up. Having read some reviews I have come to the conclusion that those reviewers dishing out high marks have read the book and were living in the other dimensions, when others and I were struggling. So to us it was a bad show and a waste of time watching it. Only in the ninth and final episode is the viewer made aware of the other dimensions. Hail to those that thought it was a poor show and expressed it in writing, as I do now.
