I rarely get an episode of show that leaves my mouth completely agape. The whole 3rd act just left me messed up.
They have had a similar case before but this one was presented much differently and with no warning. Way to break up all the monotony!!
I appreciate Will Sassos performance. Never seen him serious.

I see a lot of negative comments about the acting. To each their own i guess. I truly believe they were following directions in order to capture the tone needed. Mouse was given as an example of much better acting, but I disagree. Mouse had some over the top scenes from the leads. Everything in this one was a bit more subdued. Imo, that's what made the suspense carry on, bc no one was revealing too much about themselves by over acting in their roles.
Anyway, the story was riveting, fresh, and surprising.
My only 2 complaints is one, they made mom look too ugly in the present. Hard to look at.
Second complaint is that the cops did a lot of this things that didn't make sense. The fire alarm scene was it for me.
Oh one more complaint.... needed a little more intimacy (flower of evil style) from our main couple. I know it's not a romance but it would help to see Suyeol display some PASSION in other aspects of his life especially since a central theme is his love for his wife.
Solid 8 out 10.

First drama I've been 2 dav binged in a while. Each episode ending had me wanting more.
Although I knew where this was going (and hated it immediately after it was introduced in the first ep) I must say I still enjoyed the journey.
I was very unfulfilled with the end of the boyfriend storyline. I understand it's actually pretty realistic that he would have no natural place in the final act because of all the years that passed. But EunJung isn't shown to have partner at all in the end.
Saeyi, I mean SanYeon, was truly a selfish witch to the very end. EunJung is left with life long trauma and it left need me heartbroken for her. We deserved a longer finale with a bit of fluff to give the viewer something else besides despair.
I usually include rewatchability in my rating but I'm treating this one more like My Mister. Glad I watched it once but I'll probably never watch it again.
