This is an extremely esthetical movie. Even those, who hate it, can't help but agree, that this is a very beautiful movie with two very beautiful actors. Rourke was super-charismatic and handsome. Basinger was very feminine and fragile. She's a weak, naive woman and easy to manipulate. He is strong, knows what he wants, practical and he's over manipulative and treats her like his own thing (in a very adorable manner btw :) ). Though she loves him, she doesn't like this kind of relations, as they go beyond of understandable, boring and simple relationships most people used to. Very sad final btw :) We know so many couples like this , but the movie show these relations in a very attractive wrapping :) And I love the Love theme music of the film by Jack Nitzsche :)

We were waiting for this movie! Loved it so much! Had a great time while watching it .We laughed a lot, got sad from time to time...It's colorful, funny.entertaining.

My fav show Especially the first four seasons are the best Svaty always make my day.
