  • Best Animation ever?!?!

"You've got a friend in me, When the road looks rough ahead..."OK, OK I will stop there, but you can't fault me for singing along, after all it is Toy Story time again, and for Woody, Buzz and the gang, the road really is looking rough ahead.

Back in 1995 we all remember sitting down at the cinema or in front of the TV watching a fresh faced Andy playing with his toys and Woody being brought up along Andy's bed to save the day; from that moment we were drawn into the excitement and love of Toy Story.

From Toy Story 1 to Toy Story 2 in 1999, the whole love affair with the Toys growing once more. The critics being divided, some saying it was better than the first others saying not a good as the first but still highly rated and excitable as ever. The one Woody's round up gang, you know the rest. Both films sitting proudly in the top 250 on the IMDb with Toy Story 1 above its sequel but now in comes Toy Story 3, the question is does it disappoint or is it? The film starts off with Andy's mother video recording the past, Andy playing with his toys and his little sister doing what all little sisters do and that's to come in and wreck everything, we then see flashbacks as Andy starts to grow as years pass by. 'Andy's going to college, can you believe?' Says his happy mum, then the question comes of what is he going to do with his old toys, the attic seems to be the destined place for Woody and Co, but a mix up by Andy's mother sees them go elsewhere.

Welcome to Sunnyside, a place where the toys will feel loved again, where they will be played with and where they will be happy, or will they? Sunnydale is ran by Lotso, a pink bear that smells like strawberries. He introduces the toys to the older toys already at Sunnyside, he seems friendly and loving but not all seems right. Woody and Co. are given a quick tour of the place hosted by Ken who believe it or not has never seen a Barbie before. The end of recess draws close and Lotso and the older toys leave to go into another classroom leaving Buzz and everyone on their own just as the children come in and cause mayhem. What happens here is hysterical, Mr Potato Head loses his parts into a kids mount and up the kid's nose and Hamm having glitter glued to him just a sample of what happens. By the end of the day the toys plan come up with a plan, they have to escape. But it won't be easy.

As with the previous films getting the plan executed doesn't go to plan, something always comes up and disrupts their plans, Toy Story 3 in no exception, getting into Sunnydale is easy, getting out is hard, especially when some of the older toys are not as nice as first thought, but Buzz and Co. won't give up that easily. The film is hilarious on so many levels, from old over-sized Buster (Andy's dog) squashing Woody to the funny one liners from the toys, (Hamm)'come on let's see how much we're going for on eBay.' But the problem with continuing a successful franchise is to keep up the standard already set; does Toy Story 3 do this? No it doesn't, it goes that one step further to make it a truly exciting film, a film that deserves to claim best picture at the Oscars because as far as animation films go, this one is one of the best. But don't just take my view on it, already in at number 6 on IMDb this film is impressing film goers all over.

  • half hour in and this is one of the best games ever

only 30 Min's in the game and it's so exciting, the graphics, and story are both top notch. The voice acting for the characters is so good, it makes you wonder if you are really playing a game and not watching a movie. Being able to ask plenty of questions to other characters is another fine point as well as interacting with different things around your surrounding. There is just so many things to do. throughout the game you can find bonus points which you can use to unlock pictures, video clips and music from the soundtrack.

this is the best game i have ever played, the storyline is gripping and iv'e only played the first 30 minutes. I can only wonder what will happen as i progress.
