First of all, this is primary a movie that seems to be aimed at ages 8 and up. As long as you have that mindset, this is a quite well made, quirky, adventure movie.
The four of us who watched it were 22-32 and we were all entertained during the entire movie and laughed several times (As always with comedy, it is much better with several people).
I would say that it is definitely a movie that you can watch together with your kids, though it is probably more fun if they're Swedish because of the references.
