When the theme started playing along with the visuals I immediately thought this was a Guy Ritchie masterpiece, absolutely fabulous series that not only gets all the costumes spot on but the dirt and grime of the Victorian streets as well. Attention to detail is amazing.
Then of course we have the fantastic Stephen Graham and an equally talented Erin Doherty in the mix, and to be fair, every other individual is a stand out in this sensational series.
Bring on season 2, I hope it manages to be no less than what's gone before, never looked forward to a series as I have with this one. My only regret is I wish it had more episodes.

Did anyone consult a real pilot or avionics expert? A few omissions on some unnecessary unbelievable flight manoeuvres could have taken this movie up a few notches. For me everything went out the window once the cliche dive and gain control shenanigans began. The wife enjoyed it, but she has no clue about planes, I wish I didn't too so I could have shared the enjoyment together. Oh well.
I won't even get into the silly attempts at humour from characters who should be anything but playful with a potential assassin in the room.
Anyone giving this over a 6/10 isn't too concerned about technical details or realism that's for sure. I guess you just have to see it to roll your own eyes in amazement.

Glad they are putting out a 3rd season because you start to gel with all the characters by the 2nd. It grows on you and the young actors are amazing. Good fun that resonates with young and old I'm sure. We need more series like this, and it's a great outlet for our youth going into stage and screen. My wife is an Aussie and had little trouble understanding the dialogue, only had to explain one line to her so it should be ok with everyone. Love the accents, just makes it more enjoyable.
Complaining that it's filmed around the Wirral etc is silly. It might surprise some that star wars was filmed on Earth..
