  • FULL OF LIFE.

It's rarely that you see a film and feel wholeheartedly alive. Set in the backdrop of Mumbai's daily life, the film succeeded in capturing the little nuances of its people and the vibe that it carries in its air.

Jackie Shroff has something in his eyes that speaks for itself when he acts. All his emotions can be felt just by looking at them. Same goes for Neena Gupta who brings such a lovely energy to the screen whenever she appears. Her best quality is her ownership of the character she plays. Abhishek Chauhan's character stands out for me. He brings an authenticity to the story which could have felt overacted if done by someone else. Monika Panwar and he shares a lovely chemistry on screen. I loved their banter every now and then.

Vijay Maurya has directed one of the best slice of life film I have ever seen. The way it was shot and edited kept the pacing intact. Oh, how can I forget the wonderful music and songs of this film. Refreshing, entertaining and emotionally right. I loved the film so much that it made me write a review for them on IMDb which I haven't done in like 3 years. Congratulations team on making such a wonderful film. It will live on forever.

  • It has everything yet feels there something's missing

From the production design to the costumes then to the lighting, everything about Jubilee is a visual treat for the movie buffs. The lifestyle of movie stars of that time are very well picturised with some obvious creative liberty taken by the makers.

The highlight of Jubilee for me will remain its music and background score. It is phenomenal to say the least. Prosenjit Chatterjee was the actual attraction for me till the end. He was quite intimidating as Shrikant Roy. Loved his work in here. Mr. Motwane and his co writers created a world around films in such a way that it just takes you back in time. Sidhant and Wamiqa have shown their potentials and I'm sure they are soon becoming a regular in many amazing projects.

Aparshakti has worked mostly with silences in this series. His acting range was well utilised but his character was not.

"Hai kuch cheeze jinko badla jaa sakta tha par wo badli gayi nahi" and that is the reason why I felt there's something missing in the story. A connect.

Still very much proud that this project is fully out now for everyone to experience. Cheers!

  • Either we both win or we both lose!

The series that started off just as a heist ended on a very dramatic note, leaving the world wondering who's the good guys and who's the bad ones! LCPD became famous because of its thrilling nature and the same was missing in P5 Vol.1 that's why I was sceptical about P5 Vol. 2 but it did bring the emotions back. I didn't liked some of the subplots put in between the main storyline. At times, it feels like the cops were sleeping and doing nothing while the robbers are executing Plan Chernobyl, Plan Tom Thumb and what not! It was an overkill for me for sure.

The writing and direction of the series was top notch. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time and that's the best part about Money Heist. If I go onto talk about the performances then this piece would become 10 pages long. Let's just say that, they were natural in what they're doing and I liked it.

Overall, I enjoyed watching this series and I'm glad they are stopping this heist here. Now let's focus on Berlin's spinoff.
