This is a masterpiece, an intricate crime noir plot driven by great performances and camera work, adapting Batman's best solved cases. Pattinson is by far the most terrifying, vulnerable and human Batman, never loved the scenes where he teams up with Gordon to solve the riddles - just like the Batman I remember from my childhood. Watching him chase The Penguin on his Batmobile was one hell of an experience.
I see major complaints from many "critics" calling it broody and dark. I think that is how it is supposed to be, and although it's 3 hrs long, I have never felt it as I was hooked the entire time.
The haunting score by Michael Giacchino, the neverending rain, the orange hues and deep dark reds made the distorted city of Gotham scarier than ever before. The Riddler reminded me of the infamous Zodiac killer, and he shines in the role. The Penguin, Gordon, Catwoman, Falcone and Alfred were amazing throughout. This is cinema, a true-to-it's-genre comic book filmmaking, a Detective noir that reminded me of the Zodiac and Seven, a thriller shot without excessive use of CGI, using less than half of the usual superhero budget and yet, delivering the purest and most grounded version of the caped crusader, a one of its kind in today's CG driven action blockbusters, solidifying him as the world's greatest detective.

This film has Sekhar kammula sir's heartfelt, warm and genuine moments backed up by two beautiful performances and a great soundtrack. The love story is genuine and simple, without any bells and whistles, extravaganza of a commercial plot. Although the climax felt a bit rushed, the 2 key issues and malpractices in today's society have been dealt very well. Love Revanth, Mounica and Sekhar kammula.
Do watch it in the theaters if possible! Keeps you engaged throughout, the atmosphere, the surprises, the cast and the technical team..each and everyone gave their best. I've never ever been waiting for a sequel so bad and hell yes this matched up with my huge expectations!
