Pretty funny, not terrible writing, but could be better. Enjoyed it. If you are looking for a decent action/comedy to watch with your significant other this is the one. There is enough action to keep you interested and a fair amount of laughs along the way. Just don't expect to laugh the entire time because this movie has it's low points in between, but all in all I would recommend for those who want to watch a decent movie. Bautista and Jeong make a surprisingly funny and good team in this movie. There is a very unbelievable scene in the beginning that kind of lowers your expectations of the rest of the movie, but it's not supposed to be taken literally. However, had they not included that right in the beginning I think the movie would have been better off. The beginning scene sets the mood and expectation for the rest of the film and viewers are going to have to overcome that to enjoy the rest of the movie.

This movie tries to portray itself as a psychological thriller/horror, but is a far cry from even being remotely close to that. The story is very poorly written and predictable, yes there are a few jumpscares but it ends at that. From the very beginning it's easy to tell where this is leading, I was hoping they would add a twist at the end, but they did not, they chose stupidity over talent which is why this is receiving the worst review I have ever written to date. Do yourself a favor and watch something better, you will be happier and might actually be able to smile, but if you choose to go ahead and watch this you will most likely be disappointed, unless of course you enjoy knowing exactly how everything is going to turn out in the end. Writers, do us all a favor and get back to the basics. People don't want this crap, they want a character that grows and somehow pulls through and overcomes the darkness in this world. This is as hopeless and useless as it gets, congratulations you made another filler movie to throw in the endless heap and abyss of useless horror movies, one that will quickly be forgotten and lost in time....

Hating a Christian movie just because it's Christian is called Bigotry. A good movie is a good movie despite it's religious aspects.
