I wanted to give this movie a look because I recall bits and pieces of it from years ago. However, after trying to watch it again, I could not sit through more than thirty minutes. The script is horrible, the continuity is non-existent, as is the acting. The film moves at a snail's pace.
There are some B-grade movies that have at least some redeeming quality to them. For instance, the story may have some humor, because it might spoof certain types of movies well. Such as disaster flicks or comedy films. Sometimes, at least the jokes can still be funny.
Unfortunately, Attack of the Killer Tomatoes has not one single redeeming quality in the whole movie. The "songs" are about as pleasant as long fingernails scratching across a blackboard.
Save your time and your sanity. This film should be tossed into the garbage disposal and never should have seen the light of day!
