I watch a lot of reality TV. A lot. There are few competition shows from any country I haven't watched, if available to stream. This is absolutely the worst one I have ever seen. The host is unbearable and obnoxiously biased. And there is basically just one awful player that lies, cheats, steals and manipulates her way to the end. Yeah, it's reality TV so that's to be expected but Joanna is also hypocritical and calls others out for the exact things she does. She has the worst personality, only slightly worse than her ally Alba, who becomes just as bad as soon as she is winning. She was a whiner before that. I hated these two players and their mean-spirited, hypocritical, narcissistic behavior that I didn't even finish watching. And they were given so many unfair advantages (paying time to be able to switch time makes no f@"-ing sense for gameplay!) that there is absolutely no suspense. Fire whoever came up with the show and fire the host.
I can't stand any of the cast. You have the entitled teenager who quit immediately, the whiny wife that eliminated her husband even though he was winning, and the backstabbing female team just being hypocritical at every turn. But I think the most annoying for me was Abby, who didn't even care about Megan whenever she had the chance to flirt with Jake's team members. She comes off so desperate for them to like her, choosing to hang out with them when Jake's camera was down instead of watching Megan. It just makes the whole thing feel like high school, and she's the nerd that justifies dating the jocks who just use her to cheat on homework. Just pathetic and embarrassing for everyone involved. Plus, what is Jake doing on this show when he clearly has so much more experience outdoors than anyone else. They should have all been skilled or none of them. This is not a competition.
Where is Johnny Bananas? Where is Boston Rob? You gonna call your show The Goat and claim it is legends of reality TV and then compile a list of people nobody knows, most of which weren't even on competition reality shows. Even the CBS season of The Challenge had bigger reality TV stars than this. These are the only people the could find, and it makes the premise completely pointless. How can someone be the goat of reality if all they did was fall in love on one show. Gtf out of here with this stupidity. Could have been great, but instead it feels like a cheap knockoff of a dozen better shows. Keep it.
