The story is a special one to begin with, and seems attractive at least in the beginning. Director Kim Jin-min did well, as with "My Name", keeping the audience engaged with a team of good actors. However, the story doesn't make sense in too many ways. The ends do not justify the means, it feels like the writer has the end set in stone, and simply makes up ridiculous plots to fit the preset ending. Character development is also seriously lacking, little background on the lead or the supporting leads, why they do the things they do, much of which didn't make sense and often contradicting.
I watched this drama thinking it would be like "My Name", but the story writing are worlds apart.
Excellent performance by Park Ju-hyun, well deserved Baeksang "Best New Actress" award. She was also good in "Mouse" (supporting role), great potential in this young actress.

Overall good acting on both the leads and the supporting roles. Perhaps lacking a little in writing and character development. A little simplistic for why the protagonist would be placed on the investigators' watch list, and why would the terrorist at such sophistication in organization and skills, be killing random people ? The homeland security agents seem to be lacking in sophistication in comparison.
Perhaps it's the old school good hero vs. Bad guy kind of story, still makes an entertaining medical thriller.

A lot of the so-called suspense are quite unnecessary as it seems a lot of investigators are already in the know of the "secret gang" from the start but simply choose not to reveal to the audience and the protagonist, until much later. I guess the director/writer is trying to setup an air of mistrust between agents, but it doesn't seem to work very well here.
Some of the fight scenes are also unnecessary, as if they fought for the sake of an exciting fight scene. More like gangster fights, than battle of wits between spies. The media and cops seemed oblivion to frequent mass fights and murders in the city.
Good casual entertainment nonetheless, if you're in for the gun fights and car chase.
