I was hesitant to watch this movie because I love the original Road House. Everyone said the new version is horrible and cheesy. The original Road House is cheesy compared to the new reboot.
I grew up watching old school movies and if you watch them today, they are def outdated but I loved those movies then, and I love those movies now.
I think they did a great job on this movie. For someone who trains MMA. There are a lot of practical moves in the fight scenes that I love.
I think McGregor did a great job. He seems originally crazy in the movie. For just barely getting into acting I though he did a fine job.
I don't know why a lot of people didn't like this movie but for cult classics, this one of my new favorite movies.

Super cringe from the start.
I felt they switched the genre of the movie, through out the movie.
Is it a comedy, a drama, a kids movie? They had the key players, great props and Christmas spirit but had a horrible story line.
I watched this as some background white noise while I made dinner and that's all this movie is good for. That movie with Lindsey Lohan was better than this one. They need to spend more money on better writing.
I would suggest for Netflix to do some research on what people really want to see rather then spending all this money on a grotesque, want to be Hallmark Christmas movie.

I wish they would have worked on the story line a little bit more then the jump scares. I don't think it was a bad movie but nothing comes close to the first purge. I'd rather have a decent, new, purge movie then no movie.
