I watched this and the Dead Like Me series by chance. I was hooked instantly and can't get enough. The series is witty, thought provoking and just plain entertaining. It answers all the questions you never asked and puts a hilarious spin on events.
The cast is fantastic. They are not special except in the way they are just like people you meet everyday.
This is type of program you can watch over and over again and see something new. There are always little stories going on in the background.
Can you imagine that the grim reapers have to eat, earn money and perform their duties via a yellow sticky note.

I just happened across this movie on television and it really captured my interest. It was well acted by all members of the cast. Ann Blyth was believable as a twelve year-old and as an eighteen- year old.
The scenes at the police station are really dated but could easily be re-made today.
Two things that caught my eye during the movie. First, just about every actor and extra can be found smoking. Cough, cough must have been common on the set. Second, the male actors took a lot of liberties with the women in the movie. They would be guilty of sexual harassment today.
