One of the best drama series of all times. Can't remember when I last cried watching a TV series, but "Halt and Catch Fire" made me sob. Wonderful characters. Compelling mixture of fact and fiction. Great actors.

I lived through most of the computer history that is being presented in the plot-line, and I have to say: it is SPOT ON. I will remain a fan forever.

Not a classic documentary. Very unsual combination of political comedy and high-level academic theory. Sounds strange, is strange, but I couldn't stop watching. "Monty Python" plus "The Big Short" plus "Muppets."

I, for one, welcome our new socialist overlords.

What is most admirable in this excellent film is how Heineman risks his life in the middle of the crossfire with his camera so that he can show us this tragic, appalling and complex situation to which there seems to be no solution and where one step forward means two steps back. Watch it. Now.
