I went in with fairly low expectations, as the title sounds like any other standard isekai. But man was I wrong, as of finishing season 2 this show is incredible! I place it right up there with shows like: Mushoku Tensai, overlord, apothecary diaries, reincarnated as a slime and rising of shield hero. If you enjoy those kinds of shows then you will love this one. The cast of characters are all great, and you learn to care for them as the story progresses. This show has a lot of emotional moments that will make you tear up and get invested. The only slight I have with this show is that some of the action/fight scenes are a little wanting. I am a fully grown man but some of the scenes with ars and his subjects made me tear up.

This was a hard watch. It had an interesting premise but the film on a whole was extremely bland. The dialogue is forced, the interviews are awkward, and the host has no personality. The only positive I can mention is that some of the cinematography was nice. I decided to rent this on Amazon prime for $5, and it feels like the only thing that was cursed was my wallet. Skip this one.

I now have to fill an extra 300 characters for this review to publish so I am just going to list adjectives that describe this film: Boring, generic, cheesy, bland, uninteresting, drawn out, time wasting, unsatisfying, uninspired.

If you enjoy shows like overlord, one punch man, or eminence in shadow, this one is for you!

The fight animation is wicked and it's filled with a ton of humorous moments that made me giggle as a 26 year old man. Rick is a likeable main character even though he isn't really the center of the show. This isn't a series to watch for a complex or interesting storyline, but it's one that satisfies my chimp brain itch of overpowered OC's railing against the world.

I look forward to this show every week and wish it was all out so I could binge it in a sitting.

It does one thing really well and that's my favourite kind of anime series.
