I laughed, I cried, and I throughly enjoyed this film. Wonderful performances, beautiful cinematography, and heartfelt dialogue. Every scene worked. The child actors were so good, I want to see more from them.
I was drawn into the story from the opening. The camera work was so well done, it never felt intrusive. The acting was spot on and the look of the film made the whole thing feel authentic. I appreciated the narration, it moved the story without being over-handed.
I appreciate that this is a film for everyone in the family. It has a beautiful message of love and respect. The importance of knowing where you come from, traditions, and loving the characters that are your family.
This is a film I will definitely watch again.

Just spent the last 4 days at SXSW-Austin. Caught "Bickford Schmeckler Cool Ideas" and have picked it as my favorite. I can't think of any aspect of the film I had issue with. I loved Matthew Lillard as "Spaceman". Patrick Fugit was very believable and so funny. Olivia Wilde was fantastic, can't wait to see her in "Running with Scissors". The gags worked, the dialog was hilarious, the acting was great, editing was great like I said I really can't list anything I didn't like.
This was the only film I viewed in which no one left during the screening. I can't wait to be able to see it again. If you want a fun movie that'll make you laugh you must see this film. Let's hope for national distribution!

Saw FEAST at a festival in Austin. I'm not a huge horror fan but did watch PGL so I was interested in seeing the final project. I loved the pace of the film. There is plenty of blood and gore but I liked how those scenes were shot, nice and quick. The energy of the film was great, never once did I say to myself, when will this be over. The story itself played out well. The only thing I would have liked to have known is where did the monsters come from? A good mix of likable and boy I sure hope that guy get's his characters. Some great surprises too.
If you get a chance to see FEAST at a festival, do so. Hopefully the film will make distribution.
