I just want to say thank you Sly.. You are the best action hero and no one will ever be like you. Thank you for (this) Rambo... The character (again) is great.. thank you for showing us that this world is no wonderland.. there are many sick twisted people all over the world.. and I think people just ignore it and don't do a thing to change. The movie is just awesome.. the pace is great.. what an adrenalin rush. The story is totally believable.. the missionaries and the mercenaries besides giving credibility to the story they support Rambo.. this is not Rambo vs all like some say! I hope your movie (just like Rocky) to be a great blockbuster. I will buy it when it comes out in DVD. God bless you Sly.. your work will not be in vain. Ten stars -> ********** :D

I just can't believe the rating this so called comedy got. This movie is not a comedy, I didn't even laugh one time during this 2 hour + depressing hell. Acting is nothing special.. I just didn't care about the characters specially the supporting couple played by Paul Rudd and Leslie Mann.. they are just not funny. Ben's friends are even worse: their 'jokes' are stupid pathetic and not funny at all.. the Steven Hawking joke is just sick. The plot is not very believable: Guys that get stoned all day do exist but I just don't find them funny and I don't think a girl would even try to have a family with them if she got pregnant on a silly one night stand... she would just run away and have the kid on her own. The graphic birth scenes at the end was just the final drop.. This is definitely the worse 'comedy' I've ever seen.

This is a great movie.. Doesn't matter if you've read the book or not I'm sure you'll love it as I did. The story is about a young priest who fells into temptation with a fabulous woman but there are many other good stories in the movie. The critic to todays decadent Catholic Church is evident and is very well explored. The movie explores also the violence and crime in todays Lisbon surroundings of Chelas. If you've never been to Lisbon this movie will give you a good picture of the dirty side of the 'big' city. The gang action scenes and anti-crime brigade police intervention are pretty good.. it's just like in big Holiwood movies but this happens all the time at around Chelas. This movie has lots of talented actors - the best Portugal has to offer - and besides them there is the Portuguese discovery to cinema: Soraia Chaves. She is simply amazing.. no priest could resist her. Maybe in the future we can see her in a big Hollywood movie.. I'm sure! The soundtrack is very good, it's mostly Portuguese hip-hop featuring some of the best Portuguese bands of the moment like 'Da Weasel','Sam The Kid' and also 'Clã' among others. This is currently the second most seen film in Portugal and soon may be first. To sum up there's nothing to dislike in this movie: a Perfect 10/10 Go watch it!
