They should titled it "A Section 31 Adventure". It was a fun space adventure. It was an event in the life of the former emperor Georgiou; it had a mix of spy and action filled with a good fun adventure in the 23rd century. It didn't really mess with canon with those that worry about stuff like that and it centered on work outside the Federation so one got crazy with bending Starfleet protocol. It did well for a series that kept getting chopped down to ultimately and essentially a TV movie for streaming. It was a fun adventure in the style of an episode with a bigger budget, though some of the dialogue was predictable, the cast appeared to have good chemistry.
I found myself NOT wanting the film to end. I became invested in the lives of the characters. It was one of those films where you really wanted to see the main characters develop their lives and hope for an actual television series just to see it all. I also learned a few things about Hawaii. I thoroughly loved the chemistry between the cast and I loved the overall story. I enjoyed the relationship dynamics between both of the main characters and their friends including the way the writers unraveled the story between everyone through a common theme. It was a beautiful and joyful film that was refreshing to watch and that thankfully it had none of the stressful and convoluted mess that unfortunately other films get trapped with. I would definitely watch it again.
