  • So bad that it's worth watching

There is a lot of discussion as to what the WORST movie ever to air on Lifetime. This one has my vote. Imagine Sleeping With The Enemy, but without the good acting, script, or plot. This was just terrible in every single way (even the kid was annoying). The movie initially looked like a predictable, cookie cutter type of a Lifetime movie, but it certainly wasn't that! The eventual unveiling of the plot was so totally ridiculous, that it would be impossible to predict. Every actor in the movie was substandard. The sister seemed like she was the best actress in the film (which really isn't saying anything at all) but then, as her part in the film got more prominent- she was terrible too. If this had been a murder mystery, at least one of these unlikeable characters would have been eliminated.

  • Misleading title

This movie should have been called "engaged to a beta-male mamma's boy". It is a sorry testament to women's propensity to put up with literally ANYTHING, as long as their suitor is rich. Sad. The woman who played the sister is currently taking a crash course in Spanish so she can appear in Mexican soap operas (which is the only place you can typically see that level of over-acting. Audrey Landers turned in a wonderful performance (as always).

The protagonist actually seems to be a decent actress. For her sake, I hope that this movie gets lost in a basement somewhere so she does not have to answer for it being in her filmography.
