Muralimohan who is a good professor gets entangled in the trap of villain sharat saxena and muralimohans daughter is amala Nag is police inspector in search of whereabouts of muralimohan as he is a wanted killer and muralimohan is in a hideout and would get arrested only after he avenges Sharad Saxena for falsely implicating him in murder. So,after the film progresses ,Nag comes to know who the real villain is and helps Muralimohan take revenge and thus ends the movie after the romance blooms between Nag and amala. Amala acted as Advertising consultant and she is exquisite in those chiffon Saree's

All the songs are good.This is remake of kadhalikku mariyadhai starring vijay and shalini,directed by fazil the climax makes for great melodrama Akshaye and Jyothika elope from house as their elders donot agree for marriage but suddenly they change their heart and because of due respect to elders they want to sacrifice their love.Now parents realise their folly and unite them in a love bond great comedy and great songs and great sequences. the fisherman sequences are a bore but there should be a place where change of heart should take place ,thats why this setting but sadly enough,jyothika didnot get break in Hindi so she became a great heroine thereby getting chandramukhi and proving her worth in tamil no wonder one day she will become Mrs.Surya Sivakumar
