Often I get suckered into these types of movies by my mom's husband.

I'll give it that 1 rating because it is a rapture movie. I'm a fan of the rapture story, even though I don't think it will happen like it does in Christian fan fiction.

The very fearmongering Christians that judge people... or the ones that will sin all week and think they're absolved of their sins because they go to church on Sundays, and don't get me started on the ones that think they can buy their way into heaven. *eye roll*

The very Christians that will close off their mind to any science, technology, paranormal, or spiritual thing only to sit there and watch a movie like this... WHERE PEOPLE DISAPPEAR! And a non-believer keeps reliving the same day over and over until HE DISAPPEARS TOO! What a joke.

Do some soul-searching judgemental Christians... you aren't the only religion in the world. Open your mind and do better or you'll be the ones judged if there is a big pearly gate once you die.

Some of the characters lean into silly but it totally works and makes this film more fun.

The further I am away from seeing it, I think I love it even more!

Pattinson is proving himself over and over again. He didn't disappoint here. He could easily be in the running for best actor next year.

Special shoutout to Ruffalo and Collette. There are bad guys and then there are these two. They did great and in some scenes, they totally stole the show.

I don't want to throw out spoilers here but this movie is a great addition to the sci-fi genre. There were a few things that could've gone cheesy but Bong Joon-Ho pulled the landing on just about every idea he threw out here.

This might not be an A+ movie like Parasite but it will definitely be up there at the top of lists when people talk about Bong Joon-Ho movies.

Make it to the theater to see this one!
