Being told this had something related to Blackfish made me think this doc must have some weight. 10 mins in I thought I was missing something. 20mins in I thought I just hadn't quite slotted in to the information being presented. 30 mins in I realise they are presenting a lot of information like a graph, with no explanation of why it is going up or down and what the x or y is. 40 mins in I'm thinking why I have wasted 40mins of my life. I don't even know what this film is trying to tell me because it's so bad. This thing over here is a thing but another thing is doing this and that thing has recorded it. So water is really important but we don't have any. I even tried getting stoned halfway through to see if it made more sense but it didn't. And now I'm 2 hours older.
It's fairly obvious the this 'no holds barred' doc is a carefully planned mission to try and revive a failing popstar's career. The whole thing felt very fabricated, with Robbie doing the thing he loves most which is not singing to his fans but talking about himself.
The main thing that annoyed me about this doc is that nobody asked him the one question that everyone wants to know. Why did you get that rubbish tattoo. The fact that this wasn't even mentioned makes me think that Robbie scripted all the questions he was asked.
His level of disrespect to his fans and the band that put him where he is now was shocking and at no point was he genuinely apologetic.
Don't waste your time watching this utter pointless doc.

This is one of those movies that you really need to watch if you know nothing about it. I had no knowledge or preconceptions of the film and I thought it was amazing. All the characters feel completely authentic and you are taken on a roller coaster ride of emotions. If you are looking for a blockbuster or a gore fest this isn't for you. Really well written, great cast, acting was faultless, a proper hidden gem loved it!
