Star Trek: Picard is awful. The first season was so bad I couldn't even get to season 2.
But then something weird happened: it was like someone who actually cared about Star Trek and the legacy of Jean-Luc Picard took over.
Season 3 ignores the entirety of the first two seasons (minus one detail which is easy to pick up on) and creates one great season full of a ton of fan service. Everything that Star Wars should have done with the "Disney trilogy", Picard Season 3 did.
It has a ton of fan service and reunites all of our favorite characters. The nostalgia is cranked up to eleven, if you want to see a satisfying ending to the chronicles of The Next Generation, watch only season 3.

This show was bad, I'll just get that out of the way. There is no one you can connect to any emotional level except Bryan Cranston and the god-father (played by Isiah Whitlock Jr.). But Cranston and the few appearances of Whitlock could not save a show that was meant to be a movie.
The kid was horrible, at no point did I feel any sympathy for him. He made all the dumbest moves he could possibly make. I'm not talking regular mistakes a 17-year-old would make if in that situation, I mean way out there stupidity. Dating the guy you killed's sister? Really?
After the first 3 episodes, I finally started playing this on 1.5x speed, it was so slow and I just wanted to get through it. The ending was appropriate, I'll give it that.
