We put this on trying to find a easy watch for the weekend. I have never seen such a pile of crap in my life. The CGI is like something from the 80s. We're only 5 minutes in and praying for the actors careers. The SFX people are going to hell.
Something actually worse than the Kardashians.
The fire on the boat scene is brilliant, who would release this crap with any self respect?
10 minutes in and praying for the actors who will never act again & struggle to work in burger king. Describing a cheap PC usb camera as a "small underwater camera" is a bit naff.
On a positive note... the film ends.
Anybody involved in this film.... please stop.

We've just watched this and can't believe how bad it is. It even makes the Tom Cruise version look fantastic. We were so excited to see a decent modern version but disappointment struck.
Bad acting, bad CGI, bad script, bad everything really. The lead characters do have their good moments, but still look like college production actors. The parson guy should never be allowed to act again for accepting the role.
There is no need to remake something that has been remade a few times (which will have high expectations) and then make a cheap, low budget version that is obviously going to get slated for being crap.

Wow! Everything from the plot, the acting, sound, the dialogue and the cinematography was appalling. Who on Earth thought this film was a good idea??? A special mention for the make-up people who did the so called "scary" parts, I hope they get well soon.
