I remember seeing the landing on the news that same day. The real footage is even more extraordinary. The way it landed with that speed and everything.... absolutely breathtaking. At time everyone adored the pilot and hooraed him for that perfect excuted achievement!!
Unfortunately the movie made me upset with the thought that he could be at blame... I was shocked with that aspect. Since I didn't remember the specifics about what happened to the pilot afterwards, I was prepared for a bad ending while I was watching. That up until the very last scene at the hiring.
I would like it if the movie had given more respect time to that great man and crew.

The movie manages to build up the characters and pass the ultimate feeling of absolute love to the viewers. You feel from the start the bittersweet tragedy of a great love that had an expiration date. The scenery is magnificent and the art photography is very emotional and touching. The message "open yourself up and enjoy the little moments in life" is clearly delivered. Although, if the fiction elements were more delicately created threy could had stronger impact.
