I have no idea where all the positive reviews are coming from. I've now invested over 100 hours in the game, I've stuck with it because it cost me almost 20 euros and, despite the hassle, it had its moments.
However, this game is so complicated and completely overloaded with functions that it was hardly any fun for me in many places.
But what is an absolute catastrophe is that the game is so difficult and overloaded with puzzles and is so incredibly unfair (even on the easiest difficulty level) that I finally deleted it in a rage.
I'm so annoyed to have spent money on it. It's a cheek, and I really do play a lot of games like that. Well, maybe I'm too stupid for it, but it has nothing to do with fun anymore, it's work and obviously made for people who don't care about their lifetime.

Man, it's way too hectic, shaky, confused and jumbled.
The animations, drawings, effects and story are actually great and I really, really hoped that something really good was coming.
But apart from the sometimes funny elements, the very nice, different characters and the great setting, at some point I was just annoyed by the chaotic narrative style. And by the hectic, shaky, wild, and bad fighting scenes.
Once again, someone hasn't understood how to build a narrative. And I can only recommend everyone to take a look at Arcane, Frieren or even Apothecary Diaries by comparison. A world of difference, albeit in very different settings, but that doesn't change how you should approach a story.
I'm now on episode 4 and as it hasn't got any better up to this point, I assume that it will stay that way.
If not, I will adjust my rating of 6 points up or down accordingly after the series is finished.
This series has so much potential! It's a real shame.

It's only recently that I've started to devote more time to anime. Up until now, I've generally only known the Ghibli films.
In the course of my renewed love for Japanese and Korean films and series, I have also returned to anime.
Delicious in Dungeon, Sakamoto Days, Apothecary Diary, Frieren... to name just a few.
At some point I got round to this.
Well, I quite like it, even if I find this series much weaker than the ones mentioned above, for example. And for one reason in particular: almost everything that happens is repeated and explained again by the main character, so that I can't shake off the feeling that the series is written for people who... have no brains. The makers have probably never heard of "show don't tell". It's often so exhausting and stupid that I've been on the verge of stopping watching the series several times.
However, I still find the rest entertaining enough to stick with it in the hope that it will get better at some point.
In any case, it's terrible in season 1.
