Well this will be my first review, ever. And so I thought I would put a good word in for this mini-series. A lot of times I'm reading reviews from people that are just bashing the hell out of a good series, for little or no 'good' reason. If you see a series that is fan made, don't expect a Star Wars type production. Take it for what it is supposed to be. Entertainment. I don't judge on the 'quality' of the sets or costumes, as they are based on a comic book world, so they can make them look any way they want. I saw reference to someone 'liking it better than Supergirl'. Well that in itself is a huge compliment to the cast, crew, writers, directors and everyone involved. Supergirl is a Berlanti Productions film, released by Warner Bros. Television. So they would have had a much higher budget, which relates to better sets, locations, cameras, CGI and actors/actresses. Just to name a few things. I personally liked Supergirl better, but for the right reasons. And I wouldn't dare to compare the two.
I think the acting was fine. The fight scenes, with the exception of one, were really good. And for the budget they had, the CGI is really awesome. I would definitely like to see more of this. Kudos to all that worked towards or financed this little gem!
And BTW, I have been a comic book reader and movie goer for 51 years. I bought my first comic when I was 9, in 1964.
My name's Bob, and I support this review. whew....
