This is one of the worst short series I have ever come across on Amazon Prime Video years ago. I only watched it so that I could give it a thorough review. Lisa's Dresses is basically about three girls - I don't know if they are sisters or just friends - who need help choosing their clothes for events like costume parties, school proms, or dancing at a disco. Sometimes they also need to choose clothes for things like going to the zoo, the farm, or the beach. There are two downsides to this show. One is that this is a girls only show. I don't know what they'd call this show if it involved boys needing help getting dressed. The second problem is that none of the characters have any dialogue. The only major voice for the show is the narrator, whoever she is. The worst character of the three is Little Lizzy. She usually picks an outfit that is sometimes outlandish from the other two girls.
Sorry to say, I wouldn't recommend this. Unless of course, that is, you need to learn how txo make decisions on choosing the right outfits.

Stella and Sam is about a sister and brother who use their imaginations each day to go on wild and wonderful adventures. And with their dog Fred and friends like Owen, Felix and Ivy, the fun never stops! Also, these particular siblings never fight or squabble with each other as most other brothers and/or sisters do, on TV, in books, or even in real life.
This show is also one of several shows that show no parents. Some other kids shows where no adult characters are shown and that also involve brothers and sisters include Charlie & Lola and Max & Ruby. I also recommend those shows because they too have some episodes where the older sibling encourages the younger sibling to use their imagination.

I remember watching this once weekly program on the now gone FOx Family channel. For some people, this show kind of reminds you of Star Search, doesn't it? Unlike Star Search where you see young child or teen talents performing their own songs or covers of popular tunes, teenage performers dancing to popular hit songs from the present day of the time the show was produced to songs by artists from decades before like the Beach Boys.
So weather or not you remember watching shows like Star Search or Soul Train, try looking for episodes of Great Pretenders on YouTube. You'll see how talented teens were back then. I don't know what songs would be used if Great Pretenders was rebooted in today's TV society. Maybe Bruno Mars and "Just the Way You Are" for example? Give this show a view and see if you can rock out to those great talents.
