Almost nothing about this sequel is an improvement over the previous 2 entries. Plot lines have become convoluted for the sake of pushing the story forward, nothing is explained, everything happens simply because it can. In essence, the two sequels have added NOTHING to the story.
If you're expecting a great story about humans invading a foreign world and the ensuing events, you will be disappointed.
From a spectacle point of view however, Fire and Ash delivers.

This was hardly the beginning to season 2 I was expecting. The opening intro felt like a montage of various disjointed moments to bring it on par with Superman, a movie that shares no resemblance with Peacemaker aside from the two now sharing cameos and being part of the "DCU".
I wanted to like the first episode and felt like it was doing a really good job of nailing an 8/10, then an absolutely random scene filled with debauchery and lust occurs. It felt on par with The Boys, in the sense that the writers feel obligated to just create shock value for the sake of shock with no actual purpose towards the writing whatsoever.
I've made my Peace with this series as just another show that will be milked for its potential shock value.

The story wraps up and I can't help but feel it was rushed.
Perhaps the reintroduction of earlier characters felt tacked on in a way to force the plot to a close without involving prevalent characters whom would have directly had a hand in the conclusion.
The way the story concluded, it's just not on par with the quality of writing displayed in the first half of the 2nd Season, much like the 1st Season which is unfortunate.
That said, it is indeed a Graceful End even if a little rushed.
