  • Funny and searing social satire

Clickbait is a very clever look at fame culture, but in a different light than most similar movies. It's not an indictment of the people caught up in it, but rather the society that forces them to participate in order to be successful. I saw a Q&A where the directors talked about how the whole movie is intended to get the viewer to reflect on their own choices about how they consume on the internet. That's an important message. And Toot Strudels are funny as hell!

  • classic of the surreal vampire genre

A wonderful, weird, vampire movie about temptation and confusion. I am very much a fan of 1970s European vampire movies and Jean Rollin was the best of them. And Shiver is one of my favorites. It has very weird dialogue and the plot is very confusing, which is why it is great! If you are looking for the best of this genre, this is one of the films to watch.

  • Excellent, smart movie

I am not sure I understand everything in this, but the movie makes you think. It is for people who like surrealism and old type European filmmakers. If you want modern science fiction then this is not a movie for you. If you want people experimenting with form, experimenting with showing emptiness through repetition and through emotionless acting and you like experiencing the emotions of the film rather than having them shown to you then this is great movie.

It is very full of great music as well.

Reviews that say bad acting are very stupid people who do not understand this kind of film.
