As a viewer from Greece, I was so excited to come across this series and appreciated each and every episode of this series. The cinematography was sublime, the acting incredible. I will never forget this series and the stories/lessons it told... it will remain with me forever. However I have also noticed that others have rated this not too kindly, and from my honest opinion, I think its a cultural thing. Ive notcied that certain well crafted J dramas or K dramas have a lower rating when there isnt a happy ending. Some feel invested in a series and just expect a happy ever after ending. This drama depicted real humane issues and dealt with them with sensitivity and realism. Orange Days was always my fave J Drama, but this probably tops it.

Wow, i just wathed this from Greece, sorry for my poor english, but I was moved to tears so many times from this story. This is such a beautiful film, im so glad i found this documentary randomly on netflix. What I watched for the last 90mins will stay with me forever. Four altruistic dudes and such an amazing story. Really emphasises issues like famil, brotherhood, blood relations, but more importantly?? It makes us realise blood is not everything. Brothers can be bro's without same blood. Im soooooo glad i watched this. If i myself found me in the same situation? I do not know how i would react. But i would want to believe that a brother is a brother, regardless of blood. This is a must watch!!!

  • thank YOUUUU NETFLIX

I am from Greece. I randomly found this film on netflix this week. I am an avid movie film addict, and I must say, this movie is EASILY 100% the best film I have watched this year. I have watched many films from other countries in Europe, and quite a few Asian ( especially Korean), however i can not ever recall watching a malayasian movie before. This movie, however, OMFG, i will NEVER EVER forget!!!! The two actors who played the brothers, and the actor who represented the character 'Money".... you three made this film sooooo eloquent. An absolute brilliant masterpiece of a film, that consists of issues relevant to any parts of the world. Half way through the film, I forgot that I was reading subtitles. Thats how universal this film was, its motive, its message. Just pure genius. This movie will remain in my heart forever.

  • wtffffff did i just watch????

I am a Greek Australian dude, living in Greece. I came across this series by accident. Im not asian, nor even japanese.... but omffffggg..... i binged all 11 episodes in 3 days! I am shocked. This is a series from 2004, twenty years ago!!! And from Japan!! ANother continent from me!!! But i just have to say, this series is probably the best tv series i have come across in the last ten years!!! Thank youuuuuu Netflix for broadcasting an asian tv series to europe.... this show was BRILLIANT! Being from Greece, it is rare for us to be exposed or given the opportunity to watch dramas from Japan, or Asia for that matter. But this series had me obsessed from episode one!!! Eveery character in this series was loveable and altruistic in their own way.... and unlike american tv series, this show did not need to include sex scenes, nudity etc..... it was PURE perfection!
