Being a historical movie exception was to eye catching sets, fights and dialogue , but none was up to the mark. Just found it average type of movie. Instead of making it impressive, directors choose to inject too many songs to just increase the length of movie. Some of the songs were Uchal Kud type where Alauddin Khilji performing Uchal Kud dance, really not matching at all.
In acting performance only Ranveer Singh and Jim Sarbh were impressive. Deepika's acting just average.
Apart from this, its true, didn't find a single instance where this movie could be disrespect to any specific religion, cast or person. On the contrary depicted well how Raani Padmaavati fought well and at last ended with Jauhar.

Movie is on based on story theme.. bride/grooms jumping their wedding mandap.. which is ok.. performance of Rajkuar Rao and Kriti Kharbanda is awesome and movie have beautifully shown romance in first half...
The only thing I didn't like in this movie is.. its very slow.. and was stretched very long specifically with songs which keep coming every few minutes ....

This movie may be slight boring and irritating if you are looking for entertainment. But if you like to see true picture of our Indian society this is the best movie..Director Alankrita Shrivastava disparately want to show us mirror, and thats why she has not taken 1 or 2, but chosen 4 types of woman characters and successfully portrayed.
I don't think its 50 or 60%, but most of men or woman, specifically woman, forced to live a life, imposed by our Indian society, which director bravely depicted in this movie.
Aahana, Ratna, Konkona & Plabita, played their role flawlessly, and director had very good grip on movie, all the time..
