I rarely watch movies twice. This one I will watch at least once a year! This isn't the best movie ever, but nevertheless, it surely feels right to say it is. It reminds me on Akira Kurosawa's outstanding movie "To Live". Probably, "Name: Dobrica, Last Name: Unknown" has it's flaws, but I couldn't see any of them.
This delightful and touching story is very simple. I believe, it will warm your heart, put smile on your face and inspire you. Added plot here on IMDb describes the movie very well... I was pleasantly surprised with music, too. I highly recommend it.

Not long ago, Balkan region has suffered wars and misfortunes. Consequences of that are still recognizable and there are the new problems, of course. There are many movies about that, but this one isn't over the top because it shows current situation in Serbia very good and real. In that sense, another serbian movie "Afterparty" was for me a huge let down.
Every human and every country have its own problems, so let's say - it appears that In Serbia, pure luck is very, very important and usually crucial factor. It often feels like no matter how strong you are, it doesn't really matter without at least some luck, the lack of hope and will may easily be stronger. It is hard to plan anything in Serbia, you don't have many options either. If you have patience and strength, you can plan to wait for luck to hit you. That sounds better than to plan to kill yourself, but is it for Mrs. J, whether her life is worth living... One thing is for sure - "It is better to be a little bit crazy than a little bit clever". "Requiem for Mrs. J" is a little bit of a black comedy, too.

Movie director is Danilo Beckovic. I didn't like his first movie "Little Buddho". Anyhow, this one is better.
"The Samurai in Autumn" was actually pretty good and funny in its first 1/3. Unfortunately, that wasn't sustainable really. Later on, there were few fine scenes (one of them - fight scene). Because of them, I didn't feel bored, though it was close. I mean, story is recognizable. It's more for relaxation and fun than for anything else, specially – the ending.
Music was surprisingly pleasant (partly, reminded me on old but gold italo disco).
