  • The best Pakistani series I've watched so far

The story follows Sharjeena and Mustafa (played by Hania Aamir and Fahad Mustafa) who got married una haste after she was ditched last minute by his brother. The story follows their growth as a couple from slowly being able to tolerate each other to actively doing things for each other and eventually falling in love. One thing I love about this story is that they'll always talk to each other and even when they stopped talking to each it's not because of nonsensical reasons, it's cause they both realize that whenever they talk to each other they end up fighting. This is one of the reasons that this series felt so true to real life, most of the times it felt like I was invading a real couple's private time. It was a fresh story from the other Pakistani series I've been watching. I need more like this.

  • Hala's journey

I just loved seeing Hala go from this strong child to a timid and scared young girl to a confident and strong woman, it was a journey indeed. Of course Hamza's love gave her the support she needed to grow into who she became and to start thinking of herself. Hania Aamir and Farhan Saeed did a great job. I loved the dynamic also between Dadi and Shahjahan. Shahjahan was constantly tormented by her mother in law so when an easy target that was so dear to her mother in law came along, she felt she had found her punching bag. Slowly she started doing it Hala what she felt her mother in law did to her, pouring out all her frustrations and anger. Kudos to Sameen also for being a consistent character that always knew what she wanted and tried to be fair even with all her setbacks. This show will stay with me.

  • The story sounds nice

A lost boy gets found just 2 blocks away from the parents house. It shows the adjusting the boy had to do with his new/ biological family and being apart from his adopted one. It all sounds nice but not all of it was executed well. They did well showing how he got lost, how the parents slowly came to term with it but then it jumps to them not only being okay but immediately finding their boy. I expected they would flesh out their slow return to normalcy more. And also showing us the boy's relationship with his adopted family instead of just jumping into him being found. It was emotional in some places tho and I liked it alright.
