This movie, in a time of cheap, talentless, tawdry movies, is a breath of fresh air. It has some great actors. There is two actors from the Nanny in this movie. It is sad that one of it's lead actresses died at young age (33) of internal infection. This movie shows morals and decency. It shows humanness in time of difficulty. It shows overcoming a tragedy and a time of healing brought about through a young girl's love for a horse and a horse's love for a girl. There is good acting. The movie leaves you feeling good and desirous to watch it again. There should be more movies of this caliber. Must see.
In reading some of the reviews, I see flaws in their thinking. Such as the one saying the woman who had a miscarriage is not talking on the phone, but with her husband. Also, salvation, true you can not earn it, or do it on your own, but it is a choice. "You cannot serve to masters, for you will love the one and hate the other. It is either Christ or Satan. You either choose Christ or your own desires, which is a vote for Satan. It is true Christ paid the price for man's sins, but not all will be saved. It is like a man in the desert dying of thrist. Another man is holding out water to him. Just because water is offered does mean the man will live. The man must choose to take the water and make it part of himself to live. Your choose will decide where you will go heaven or hell. This is what the movie is showing. People are so wrapped up in their lives and leaving out Christ. Living a misconception of salvation. Even pastors who knew God's message ignored it until it was to late. The movie does drag a bit in trying to show this. The ending is dramatic and gripping; dripping with truth. To get the full message with the right context one needs to pay attention. The acting and the movie is good. The message is strong; listen to it with an open heart.
As in the days of Noah so shall the last days be. There was a great revival by man, then a falling away and disingreation of society and morals.
Today, the churchs that lead the great revivals are silent and dead, just lecture halls.
Just Noah and family were removed before God's judgement, so to will the Christians be removed by a Rapture, then tribulation.
The movie starts at this point and gives a view of some people. The acting is good. The movie keeps one's attention. In spots it is intense. The only flaw is there going be a mark on one's hand or forehead, not some cap in the hand. You must take it.
Another movie to watch Sunday Morning Rapture.
