The writing is a little off plot-wise and its easy to guess what happened, especially with the original girl. Which makes it unbelievable that it wasn't investigated properly. The acting is fine, they all manage to portray their characters realistically and you get the feeling of how big the elephant is in every single room in the community. It is an extreme slowburn, but I think it is to really get a sense of how difficult things can be when there are so many secrets and open wounds among the townsfolk.

Whats great about this is the focus on the people and not some alcoholic detective, which every other show does.

Although this is a romantic comedy, it has so many down to earth topics that the couples in this show go through. Of course the characters are written a bit 'over the top' it makes perfect sense in a comedy. I am a millenial and I long for these friendships and the amazing bond that so clearly comes through in the episodes. The show is warm and cozy, while bringing both rough subjects and lots of laughter in each episode. The cast is so good and have great chemistry, you really believe this is a group of friends, the script is well written where one doesnt go overboard on either romance, comedy or only feel-good. Perfectly balanced. The end episodes are throwing me off a little because I feel they deviate from the vibes the previous episodes had, and that's where the show starts to stutter a bit. It almost feel like someone just took over and rewrote the script because the dialogues and events suddenly doesn't match to the rest. It's good but its not like the first 6 episodes which were just plain great.

It started off quite slow in my opinion, I spent several days on the first couple of episodes before I got interested. Once again we're in Sweden with some troubled main character that is somehow connected to crime solving. Lejla is pretty unlikeable and seems cold and numb. The small town police seems unfit for any major crime. The chief himself seems arrogant and fed up by being there. Of course there is drama between the townspeople and sharks looking for money. The stage is set, and the course is linear. Or is it? All characters are well written, even down to the dumbest small town jerk. The cast does an amazing job playing their roles, and you learn to understand why the main is the way she is. The plot seemed obvious and boring at first which is why I took so long taking an interest, but once the clues start to drop I had to keep watching. Then the plot hit me in the face like a brick, and I wish I could delete what I just saw so I could watch it again.
