  • Redgrave and Dillane carry the film

I was compelled to write this review because of the lead actress, Victoria Foyt. Her performance was absolutely terrible! It was so bad that it was distracting from the rest of the actors. Once she finally was silent, for a short amount of time, Stephen Dillane's and Vanessa Redgrave's brilliance could be seen. I must also say, once you get through some of the hokey "coincidences", there are some good parts to the movie. But Redgrave and Dillane carried it for sure. Foyt ruined it.

  • Haunting look at depression

Do not watch this movie if you're depressed. It is VERY depressing. That being said, it is a great, low budget film with great dialogue. The actress really shines. It will stick with you.

  • Great slow-burn, supernatural film!

I'm a big fan of supernatural films, especially slow-burning ones. Nowadays, a good one is very hard to find. The Dead Center does a terrific job with its script and direction by Billy Senese; Main actors, especially Shane Carruth and its overall production. It is a low-budget film, yes. However, it has substance. Isn't that what we're all watching for, anyway? Loved it!
